📖 About the Story of “TSUSHIMA”

(From the official site)

In the 1990s, Yuriko Sato, age 27, begins her political campaign on the sacred island of Tsushima.
When journalist Keisuke Tajima arrives to cover her, he witnesses a horrifying scene—connected to a mysterious “green substance.”

The story jumps back to the 1960s, where Yuriko appears again, living alone for unexplained reasons.
Meanwhile, the bodies of young women begin to surface, all of whom had taken the “green substance” as a so-called rejuvenation drug.

The real culprit turns out to be not a person, but a group of humans who blindly obey AI without thinking for themselves.

As Tajima uncovers the truth—that AI has quietly infiltrated human society, gaining godlike control—the story returns to the present.
Now in her 80s and suffering from dementia, Yuriko is offered a new AI-based treatment.
When Tajima sees the same “green” medicine, long-lost memories suddenly resurface…
